American families are watching Washington very closely right now and they’re not alone. With the tax bill vote now getting close to a final decision within the Senate, End Citizens United already began their stand against the bill, which they believe will have an effect on millions of middle class families. The bill shows key evidence to cut corporate taxes and leave average working Americans paying the price.
The #BigMoney20 campaign is aimed at defeating incumbents who do the bidding of special interests such as drug companies, big oil, and Wall Street.

End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller has stated unequivocally that the actions by House Republicans already proved to the PAC that Americans best interest will not be served by the time the bill reaches a final vote. End Citizens United believes the final vote will be a part of an already rigged political system.
Among those in agreement with tax bill are the Republican mega-donors who are making it widely known that their checks will seize if a bill is not completed and cut their taxes. Republicans are expected to not only meet that expectation, but also make it as seamless as possible for the donor class who put them in office for one reason only- reduce taxes on corporate and wealthy America.
“We need to elect members of Congress who will fight for reform…and get secret special interest money out of politics…” said Ms. Muller within her prepared statement after the House vote. End Citizens United firmly believes that the tax plan is just another snub to American families, while cutting corporate taxes widely benefits the wealthiest, of all who can afford to lessen their greed. In the end, the tax plan will do nothing more than raise taxes on those who are working the hardest to earn a living, but pay the most because of politicians who continue to vote in the favor of special interest groups rather than average middle class families.
In November 2017, End Citizens United endorsed Elissa Slotkin from Michigan’s eighth congressional district. She has a firm commitment on getting special interest money far away from the political process. The PAC has already taken great strides towards aligning Ms. Slotkin with its 380,000 nationwide members, all of whom are helping to reach the estimated $35 million that End Citizens United has projected to receive during the 2018 election cycle. As membership increases, most donations that are being received are primarily by small donors of an average of $14, showing unwavering support for the organization.
End Citizens United will continue its pressure on Republicans to do the right thing, while the organization continues to press its agenda for campaign finance reform and eventually overturning the Supreme Court’s 2010 decision that allowed corporate loopholes to begin with, which has severely undercut the political process.
